This is a gentle reminder to be patient with yourself, gentle with yourself. To hold yourself tenderly and with love even when you feel like you’ve dropped the ball. To continuously uplift yourself as you move through the world and as you look in every mirror of comparison.
You are worthy. You are beautiful. You will figure it out. You will succeed.
This is a gentle reminder for you and me, that whenever we feel like we’re being too hard ourselves we can pause and be grateful for the journey thus far and the success that shall follow.

As I contemplated and procrastinated on what to write this week, my inner self-talk was simply reiterating that I wasn’t good enough. I felt unmotivated to write and I was in the process of working on a project that felt great in the beginning but doubt crept in and I abandoned the ship.
This one action dictated my feelings towards all the other work I was doing regardless of their individual successes.
I find sometimes that one failure can make you feel like an entire failure.
By writing this I’m trying to remind myself and you reading this that a few bumps along the way are a part of the journey. Be gentle with yourself and listen to your inner compass.
Give yourself the grace we often offer other people. Offer yourself grace abundantly, unceasingly and fervently.
This was short and sweet but just right.
Don’t forget, you’re incredible. I mean that!
Sincerely,
Sometimes She Writes
